New Jersey has 12 congressional districts. Democrats hold a 10-2 edge, although 4 of the Democratic wins were by single digits in 2020. Republicans outperformed expectations in the 2021 legislative elections, signaling some congressional Democratic incumbents could again be at risk. However, the new map is favorable to Democrats and will likely save all those incumbents except possibly for Tom Malinowski (NJ-7) whose district becames significantly redder.
