Iowa has four congressional districts, three of which are held by Republican, after that party gained two seats in 2020. The non-partisan advisory commission made modest changes to the four districts. The Des Moines area District 3 is seen as the most competitive in 2022, while Districts 1 and 2 could be in play in a year with a better political environment for Democrats.
