18 Congressional Districts: 13 Democrats | 5 Republicans

The 13th district in Central Illinois is the state's most competitive. Incumbent Republican Rep. Rodney Davis is seeking a 5th term. The election is a rematch of the 2018 race, which Davis won by 1% over Democrat Betsy Dirksen Londrigan.

Three Democratic-held districts: IL-6, IL-14, IL-17 are at the edge of the competitive map. The remaining 14 districts are safe for the incumbent party. There will be two new faces, however. Daniel Lipinski (D, IL-3) was defeated in the primary. John Shimkus (R, IL-15) is retiring after 12 terms.
