On this Page: U.S. Senate, Governor, U.S. Representative (27 congressional districts)

Results Expected: After 7:00 PM Eastern Time for Districts 3 through 27, after 8:00 PM for Districts 1 & 2. Some results for Senate and Governor are expected during the 7:00 PM hour, but no race calls will occur before 8:00 PM, when the final polling places close.

U.S. Senate

Incumbent Sen. Bill Nelson (D) is seeking a 4th term. He's up against outgoing Gov. Rick Scott (R) in one of the most closely-contested Senate races in the country.

Governor

Gov. Rick Scott (R) cannot run due to term limits; he is running for U.S. Senate. The highly competitive race to replace him has been one of the most closely watched in the country.

U.S. House

27 Congressional Districts: 15* Republicans | 11 Democrats

Highly Competitive: 6th, 15th, 18th, 26th, 27th
The Miami area 26th and 27th districts gave Hillary Clinton some of her largest margins of victory among the 25 districts voting for her while electing a Republican to Congress. The 6th district is vacant - thus the asterisk above - and will not be filled until the winner of this election is seated in January. That seat was formerly held by Ron DeSantis, who is the Republican nominee for governor.

Others to Watch: 7th, 16th, 25th
Of these three, the 25th is the one to watch a bit more closely, particularly if Democrats do well in the nearby 26th and 27th.
