GOP Sen. Mike Crapo is expected to win a fifth term.
Republican Gov. Brad Little turned back a far right primary challenge from lieutenant governor Janice McGeachin. He's expected to win a second term, and should enjoy a better relationship with his lieutenant, most likely GOP House Speaker Scott Bedke.
These elections will be conducted using redistricted boundaries, although there was almost no change from the map in place over the past decade. Both Republican incumbents are heavily favored to win.
Republicans hold a large 28-7 edge over Democrats in the Idaho State Senate. Members serve two-year terms.
Republicans hold 58 of 70 seats in the Idaho House of Representatives. Members serve two-year terms.
