Democratic Sen. Brian Schatz is expected to win a third term.
Democratic Gov. David Ige was ineligible to run due to term limits. In this deep blue state, his successor his likely to be Democrat Josh Green, the current Lieutenant Governor.
These primaries will take place using redistricted boundaries. The shapes changed very little from those in use over the past decade.
