All US House seats to be contested in 2024

The state lost a seat in post-Census redistricting; Democrats hold a 9-8 edge over Republicans after the 2022 election.

Five seats were decided by less than 10% in 2022. Those are on the competitive radar for 2024; see the table below the map. 

Of particular note are crossover districts 1 and 8. These are districts represented by one party but won by the presidential candidate of the other party in 2020.

Pennsylvania is the only state to have one of each: Brian Fitzpatrick won District 1; this is one of one of just 19 Biden-GOP districts nationwide. District 8, won by Matt Cartwright, is one of only eight Trump-Democratic districts.
