2024 Alabama House Election Interactive Map

All US House seats to be contested in 2024

Alabama has seven congressional districts, six of which are held by Republicans. None of the seats have been competitive in recent cycles; the closest election was decided by a 29% margin in 2022.

Redistricting in advance of the 2022 election yielded a map that was little changed from the one that had been in place for the past decade. This led to a legal challenge under the Voting Rights Act. Ultimately, the state was forced to create a second majority-minority district to be used in 2024.

The new District 2 favors Democrats and led to incumbent Barry Moore challenging his fellow Republican, Jerry Carl for the District 1 nomination.
