Re: 9, if he was using middle initials consistently, it would be Albert E. Gore, Jr.

I'm personally a stickler for consistency but it probably don't matter much.

Shouldn't you put something about Obama being the first black and biracial President, like how you put JFK as first Catholic President?

When I split NE and ME votes, why does the voting history thing at the bottom change to WY's voting history?

The issues list seems a tad long (just my thoughts, take it as you will).

270toWin: Thanks for the feedback. Everything related to the current election is preliminary; we don't go back and compare the notes with prior elections although in a historical context, I think a mention about the first African-American might make sense. It seems a bit too obvious right now, however. There are a number of issues with the map that will be addressed before the next election cycle.

Hey, 270towin, I suggest you fix your popular vote totals to match that of either Dave Leip's Election Atlas numbers or Wikipedia's. Both sets of numbers are very similar to each other and count the votes by adding the official numbers from each state. CNN doesn't divulge their method and hasn't updated their numbers in quite some time.

Congratulations to Obama for officially winning the electoral votes.

And technically, if you want to use their full names (seeing as how you used Albert Gore, Jr.), it's Barack H. Obama II and John S. McCain III.
